More rains to come

Just as people began to believe that the rains have ended comes the news that, in the next fortnight the country will experience unusually heavy rainfall.
This was revealed yesterday by the Foundation for Environment, Climate and Technology (FECT) in their experiment on climate monitoring and prediction.

The entire country would receive a total rainfall in excess of 125mm during the 11-day period ending on 25 November. The highest rainfall would be experienced in the Northern peninsula where it would reach up to 100mm on average.
FECT experts said though this was the usual time for high rainfall in Sri Lanka, however, rainfall of over 125mm in the next two weeks would be an exception for the season. Nevertheless, weather patterns do not predict a cyclone or storm in the region, thus, experts are unsure as to why Sri Lanka would be receiving such a high rainfall in the coming weeks.

In VPEL for Sept,Oct & Nov it has accumulated full capacity of (it says as 10Mw/Hr if 10Mv is the full capacity)what ever the Mw for more than 15 days per month.

Normally Jan & Feb are the lowest. In those areas there is 50% chance of rain when full year is concerned.

Hope you all noticed the large quantity of PAP shares traded at 2.70 this morning. Guess PAP also gearing up for a move like VPEL & VLL.

One point to note is that like VPEL both PAP projects are under avoided cost tariff, which was increased by 29% from this year. thus similar to VPEL; PAP will also have a boost in their bottom line.

Yes i agree.But this is a stock which no one party has full control over. Therefor massive amount of shares in free float.
