Asia Siyaka that has been changing from hand to hand since 2011 from Asia Capital in July 2011 to LOLC fame in October 2011 and then to Royal Ceramic in April 2012 and then to Akbar Teas lead Lanka Commodity Brokers in February 2013.

The company is said to be up for sale again and Lanka Commodity brokers has started shedding their stake little by little in the market as a result.

Maybe the experts on the forum can clarify these queries:

Why would a potential seller depress the price?

Since LCB control 90% of the shares why would they let the price drop if they intended selling the company? confused

I think we need not worry so far, i wish some one can call them ask about this rumour doing the the rounds, and get a clarification.
Until then one need not panic Very Happy

I feel it is because of the small public float and the fact that attention is usually on the 'hot' stocks which can be traded for a quick profit. Smile

The results will be out early November, and with winter traditionally being good for tea sales I would think the results will be good.
