මූල්‍ය ආයතන ඒකාබද්ධ කිරීමේ කි‍්‍රයාවලිය යටතේ බැංකු නොවන මූල්‍ය ආයතන 41ක් සහ බැංකු 9ක් තම ආයතන ඒකාබද්ධ කිරීමේ සැලසුම් මේ වන විට තහවුරු කර ඇතැයි ශ‍්‍රී ලංකා මහබැංකුව ප‍්‍රකාශ කළා. ඒ අතරින් බැංකු නොවන මූල්‍ය ආයතන 8ක් සහ බැංකු දෙකක් ඔවුන්ගේ ඒකාබද්ධ කිරීමේ සැලසුම්වල කටයුතු නිම කර තිබෙනවා. අනෙක් මූල්‍ය ආයතන 33 සහ බැංකු 7 තවමත් ඒවා නිම කර නොමැති වුවත් ඔවුන්ගේ කටයුතු අඛණ්ඩව නිරීක්ෂණය කරන බව මහබැංකුව සදහන් කරනවා.

Be watchful, As investors the price on the market will be more sensitive specially in the short term for the remaining Banks and NBFI which have not yet disclosed their consolidation plan. Keep in mind the consolidation process makes the Banks & NFBI stable and less competitive so they are sustainable and make profits without much competition.
