TYRE EPS for the quarter ended 30/09/2014 is Rs. 4.36

Profits are increase
For this year annualized EPS will be above Rs. 10.00 (Last year it was around 8 )

Currently TYRE is trading at a PE of 9.3 times

MFG sector PE is 21.80

If this stock trading with 14 PE Price needs to be adjusted to ,

14 x 10 = Rs140.00

Purely undervalued...............

TYRE this result is through the JV performance. There is only a slight improvement in PAT for the 6 months versus last year(2 Mn reduction in loss) and the quarter PAT figures has deteriorated versus same period last year.

Also when it comes to JV, GP has come down by 72Mn. This improvement in bottom line (JV) is mainly due to reduction in finance cost from 38Mn to 4Mn, which is really surprising.

Borrowing details of the JV is not available in this report to make a direct comment, however their Non current liabilities has increased by 30Mn, in contrary to the reduction in Finance costs.

Also don't know whether that Finance Cost is a netted amount with some finance income or something(ie; reason for huge reduction in Finance Cost)

I don't know whether I am missing something here. Question

Correct me if I am wrong.

Dear RPPA, VALUEPICK, SHARK and other experts,

I have some TYRE.N in my portfolio averaging Rs.76. What are your views on this stocks? does it have any more space for appreciate? If not im thinking about selling my shares and buy something else. Please give me your opinion.

For the current earnings TYRE is fairly valued @ 80/-. But there is good momentum in this stock due to institutional buying. As they expect the future earnings to be far superior than this due to reduced rubber prices.

Therefor keep TYRE as a mid term investment. You succeed with more than 20% ROI. Very Happy

Can you remember I said pullback and market pause create opportunities in this major uptrend. There was an opportunity for this stock when it was stagnating around Rs.67, Rs.70 level very recently. Its intermediate trend is up. We should monitor its momentum.
