MR will do whatever he can to remain as EP. So this PE election is going to make a World Record on "election violence".

Its obvious that some investors are living in SL to make money only either ethical or unethical yet people at large like to live as good citizen

So we all hope that people who has sense will cast their vote for the betterment of SL.

Now a days share prices will reflect the political uncertainty and not the true company performance.

So this fluctuations are temporary.

After 8th Jan all knows who will be the winner then share prices will adjust accordingly to reflect the true performance of the companies. Therefore as a smart investor no need to worry about the RED in his/her profile since its a temporary affect.

All are wondering why market is falling due to Political Uncertainty. Locals think affect of the Political uncertainty is much worse than any other factor affecting the Stock Market. So they react much more than Foreigners. Sometime Foreign investors are unaware of the Ground Situation and local information.

I blame neither for their behavior. Only time will tell who is correct! Lets support all Weak Hearts and help them to stay healthy until January.

So far I don’t see any danger signals to go below 7000. I am closely watching next week. Accordingly I will update. However those who follow Graham, Warrant buffet, Peter Lynch, few intelligent foreign and local long term investors will not worry about this 7000, 5000, 8000 and 10,000 etc. They will worry about their business. Because they buy wonderful business not stocks. Actually even during this major uptrend some stocks are underperforming badly due to short term factors. If we can identify their real growth and business prospects we can buy them very cheaply before they become expensive in the future. As market is not in the first stage of current major uptrend I prefer different types of stocks and I am rebalancing my portfolio to get gain in short, mid and long term. We can see higher growth in some sectors during next five years If companies meet their targets. Accordingly some of our stocks will have more value. It is time to identity companies which are going to increase shareholder value in the future.

What will happen is that the businessmen who are seen as MR supporters will make huge 'donations' to the UNP campaign for the parliamentary elections that will follow, a smooth transfer of allegiance will take place, and life will go on as before.

How many prominant UNP politicians are successful businessmen as well? RK, DG, etc, etc.
