(www.randora.lk-04/12/2014)- මේ වන විට දිවයිනේ ලිහිසි තෙල් වෙළෙදාමේ සියයට 50 කට වැඩ් ප්‍රතිශතයකට හිමිකම් කියන Chevron Lubricants Lanka PLC අද සපුගස්කන්දේ පිහිට් කාර්මාන්ත පුරයේදි ස්වකිය අර්ධ ස්වයංක්‍රිය නව කර්මාන්ත ශාලාවක් එහි ජාත්‍යන්තර ප්‍රධානි Colleen Cervantes ඇතුළු මැති ඇමතිවරුන් විසින් විවෘත කරනු ලැබුහ.

වාර්ෂීකව 45 MML නිෂ්පාදන ධාරිතාවයක් ,රසායනාගාර පහසුකම් හා ලිටර් මිලියන 1.4 ක තෙල් ගබඩාකිරිම් පහසුකම් ඇතුළු අර්ධ ස්වයංක්‍රිය පහසුකම් ගණනාවකින් මෙම නව කර්මාන්ත ශාලාව සමන්විත වේ.

මෙය ඇමෙරිකාණු තාක්ෂණ ශිල්පින්ගේ සහභාගිත්වයෙන් සැදුවකි.

Sri Lanka’s largest lubricant player, Chevron Lubricants Lanka PLC kicked off operations of its new state of the art blending plant at Lindel Industrial Estate, Sapugaskanda in the presence of Colleen Cervantes (President of Chevron Lubricants) on 04 December.


Minister of Industry and Commerce Rishad Bathiudeen who arrived at the inauguration event met and discussed with President of Chevron Lubricants Ms Cervantes just prior to the ceremonial opening. “Sri Lanka is greatly served by Chevron Lubricants and we extend a warm welcome to you!” said Minister Bathiudeen, addressing President of Chevron Lubricants Ms Cervantes at the plant.

“Chevron has generously contributed to national health, road safety, sports and education to empower Sri Lankans through its effective CSR policies. 100% of its Lankan operations are manned by Lankan staff and the Company has also shared its Humar Resources with other countries, giving its staff exposure and earning foreign currency” said Kishu Gomez (MD/CEO of Chevron Lubricants Lanka and added: “With more than 50% of local market share of lubricants, we are the dominant player. The new building facility is semi-automated with the capacity to produce 45 MML per annum and also equipped with modern laboratory facility and on site base oil and finished lubricants storage farm. The modern warehouse is also equipped with an efficient racking system of 1.4 million litre storage capacity for raw material and finished products. The plant is conceptualized and designed by US experts in par with latest global technology.”
