Dear Brothers and Sisters
There is a Sinhala proverb which means once translated ….. Just because your face is ugly don’t cut your nose…..
MR and his family may have many weaknesses. But they have a lot of strengths too. They may have earned money. But they have done a lot of work for people too.
As intelligent people we should carefully evaluate our choices before we vote.
The election result cannot be repeated. If under the untested MS rule, Sri Lanka plunders into chaos, it is going to be far worst than us just feeling bad about Rajapaksa family nepotism.
Look at the good things MR has done since the end of the war. Haven’t you benefited at all from these ?. Why do people look at only the negative side and completely forget the positives ?
Don’t you want you and your children to enjoy the peace that Sri Lanka won after 30 long years at least for some time. Cant you wait a few more years before gambling our future with a leader who has only promises but no track record ?
Please please think hard before you vote tomorrow !!!!
