I don't think this tax affect that much on ASI. Today many ppl started bring down the index mainly for them to by at low price. Two year before HILTON and Pelwawatta were taken over. But after few weeks ASI went up. Valuewise that is greater than 27 Billion I believe.

How super gain tax affects companies still not known. Will it affect the group or individual companies?.
If that so what are the companies? I hope only few companies then. So why then this government put the new tax?
Still no answer. For CJ issue this government has attacked fundamental of the constitution itself. Even JR never did that.
So, we are in a dilemma now. wait and see.. that may be the best advise.

Panic without proper understanding of the tax impact causes the ASI to go down.

Market should be ok soon but not sure it will on Monday since thereafter two holidays. Anyway if the market reaches 7000 points it is not bad to buy some solid counters.

This Tax from High Gain. no need to worry.

IN UK, USA..... they charge 50% from profit as a Tax.

25% not a big problem. problem is previous Government not charge this much. that's the problem

25% not a problem for small investors and General Public.

this 25% TAX is good move as government.
to control inflation also.

Government should take Tax. otherwise cannot pay salaries. and other cost.
problem is way of taking taxes. this is good way to collect Tax. Market will move according to this situation.
