We should avoid some blue chips until we see correct value. On the other hand there are lot of small and mid value stocks with growth potential which are free from tax hit and having great potential.

There are well managed companies locally as well. It is time to identify new stocks and sectors to reap benefit from final stages of current major uptrend. As I said before winners in 2014 are going down badly. Sleeping beauties in the market should wake up in 2015 and 2016. This time another set of fund managers will benefit more than others. No fund manger can outperform market all the time.

Listen to valuepick. Everybody had enough warning to take the profits and tread cautiously. If you were looking for more pretty bad. Now is the time to study the market and wait for the prices to settle down. You can pick some low value shares with high yield at reasonable price. JINS, OSEA, TKYO, AINS, CSD are worth looking at.

Market can go to 6000 when we see bear market again most probably at the end of 2017 or in 2018. However nobody can predict 100% correctly. Until then current major uptrend should continue while having short term pause, short term sell off in some stocks and some volatility etc. It is time to prepare for remaining stages of current major uptrend. Undervalued sectors and stocks can have more potential now. We can expect powerful rally in new stocks and sectors in the third and finial stages of current major uptrend. In every sector there can be new strong emerging companies as well in the coming years. We should be able to identify emerging stocks in the following sectors during next five years. If market breaks 7500, 7800 and 8000 levels during next couple of months stay very bullish. Still we don’t see end to the current global bull markets. Sri-Lanka is one of the latest entrants to the current bull market.
