KGAL the biggest rubber producing company in Sri Lanka with a lower P/E value is going down and down just after they released financial statement. The statement is very impressive which shows Rs35 EPS ...what is the reason for this sudden depreciation?

They have only announced 50 cents per share dividend what is the use of it when the share price is around
Rs 210 Laughing

KOTA has given an interim dividend of Rs 5 when the price is around Rs 175 and still going down which is best?

Honestly I do not believe what others say regarding this share. It is valued at least 250 rupees. It is natural that if you have the share you would like to go it up and if you don't have the share you would like to go it down (when you know it is worth at current prices)

I have only 500 shares bought at 218 rupees.

So it is not much and I can take the loss in highly unlikely case if it goes down further and further.

So I am listening to me rather than others . If you think it is worth and if you do not need money back soon hold on .

To me Price going down to 210 rupees is not rational. When EPS is 35 rupees and NAVPS is about 100 rupees. EPS will be more for next year with even rubber prices kept at current levels.
Divident 0.5 rupees means the rest is invested back and will yield more profits in next year.

ROE should be around 35/65 = 53% .

When you are in dark listen to your inner feelings rather than others , if you were wrong at least you will get chance to learn..

Or if you are quite smart and identify the market turning points sell and buy back at the bottom. I am not capable of doing that yet so I will be holding on to them tight till they go up to at least 250 rupees.

I bought a couple of thousand yesterday because looks undervalued in my opinion. Not too happy because could not get at a low. I think price went down due to group effect.
