report out. EPS gone up to .76 from .07 isn't it good. NAV up to 2.13 from 1.35
eventhough the main reason is selling of galadari hotel shares, gross profit up by 10%, finance cost reduced by 63%.

what do you think friends ?

As you pointed out note that most gains are from Capital. So when evaluating need to take out on time Capital gains to find the core business profits and eps

Remember, Dr Senthilverl has bought huge quantity at Rs4.50.
p.s: I am not holding NHL in my portfolio.

NHL 4Q profit fell 76% yoy to Rs 24 mn, 4Q EPS only 2 cetns - annualised EPS is 7 cents.

Removing GHLL sale capital gain of Rs 904 mn from FY11 profit of Rs 1070 mn gives a normalised FY11 profit of Rs 166 mn and normalised EPS of 12 cents.

Using either of these EPS, and even allowing for some profit growth, which is not guaranteed to be strong due to rising room supply in Colombo hospitals, at Rs 3.9 per share, NHL share does not seem to be under valued on short term earnings based on fundamentals

True, Dr Senthilverl bought 11% of NHL last year, but he may be a long term or strategic investor.
