I m waiting till this come down a bit to buy as a long term investment.
I saw directors had brought this share 1 year ago for 1 LKR.

They must be very happy by now.

Glass company has lot of advantages. They have a monopoly in Sri lanka. Their new state of art factory in Kalutara District Has Suficient capacity to enhance production without any significant investment. therefore no room for any other player to come and they would enjoy their monopoly for ever. They have succecfuly entered in to Export market as well. Their EPS is also improving Q.to Q. So I feel in the Mid and Long term Glass is a good investment.
However if someone invest in any share, he/she should study it deeply and this is not a buy or sell recomondation pl.

and this is the announcement published next day rectifying the error - http://www.cse.lk/cmt/uploadAnnounceFiles/3921284467480_666.pdf and the rate was the open market rate,

but as i mentioned several times i am interestingly waiting to see the shareholder list, because there was huge transactions in Jan and it even touch 13/=, also 30 cents dividend is pending and the sale of land is pending

I remember buying this around 8 to 10 LKR and disposing above 12 LKR.

Seems Mr. M.M Udeshi bought and E.P.F sold heavily, most of the top 20 increase there holdings

Its cannot be considered as a' profit drop' friend. For me it is flat. Kindly request you to see my post above. Glass will show exciting resuts very soon.(This is not a buy recomondation pl.)
