This is not relevant to Stock but I feel I need to point out this since there was another post regarding Mattala Airport.
When I justified Sri Lanka needs another International airport in the following post

Your reason looks so funny. I never heard this kind of explanation from any of economist/ analyst... If SL need additional airport to land Airbus during bad weather, what abt its day today running cost? Its maintenance cost may be 1000 times bigger than the cost incurred by bad weather incl. hotels and transport. And effect of bad weather is very rare in Colombo. It seems that you have very poor financial decision making background...

I was reading an article by a Captain with regard to the way mattala airport was built. Even I was shocked to read that it had only one taxiway. A plan landing has to back track to enter the apron. This is a very inefficient way to handle traffic. You can clearly see this in google maps.
When it comes to people's lives cost is irrelevant. MH370...millions of US$ are being spent just to find it's wreckage.
