No, government has a plan to give them another 1/3 of total filling stations. One of my friends told me last night who works in the ministry. If they do so LIOC can control 66.6%.

Me too had this news, but cannot confir at this stage..Anyway as long as this govt is there LIOC will have a good time..High chance of a joint project in Trinco with India..

I have low level of faith in this company. I have studied their financial reports and believe they are syphoning money by putting various management charges under operating costs. So in every quarter investors anticipate good result taking into consideration of the dropped oil prices but they disappoint them by showing unbelievable low profit. Plans are underway for India to setup its first overseas petroleum hub in trincomalee, which will immensely benefit LIOC. Hence, Future is bright for LIOC.

Last 4 months fuel import cost drop from 48% while amount increased by nearly 20%, Fuel prices in SL drop by 30 % only ( 167 to 117 ,petrol )..According to this simple formula LIOC Must have good financials.
