If a broker misleading me, can't I complain about him?

On a legal note, I have no idea. But you could certainly complain to his/her bosses. Why do you say the broker is misleading you? What happened?

we all appreciate if you all could tell other new comers how you were deceived in detail with facts (e.g. advised to buy shares saying this will go up when a big investor was dumping with the help of brokers) at the prathilaba tv program sponsored by brokers.

If you give us more details as to how you were misled then we also can be on the lookout for such moves by the brokers.
I think you can complain to the CSE having compalained to the Member company first..
Please see contact page of the CSE site.[url=http://www.cse.lk/welcome.htm] Extract of that is appended below.

Making a Complaint
If you wish to make a complaint against a member firm in respect of dealing in securities, your primary step would be to issue a complaint in writing to the compliance officer of the member firm you are dealing with. In the instance that your complaint is not dealt with in a satisfactory manner, you can refer the complaint to the AGM-Regulatory Affairs of the Colombo Stock Exchange using the Complaint Form

Some times, when market goes up he/she says "No.. dont buy now. And when it goes down he/she say "No. dont buy now. Do you think guys this is right? One of my friends told me that his broker knows nothing. When he calls him he just ask his ID number. I think they should provide their service more than this attitude. I have 2 brokers. First one did nothing. But the second one is very good. He advice me a lot when i ask to buy a share.
