Sri Lanka is a significant location as an investment hub to Swiss investors. The government has been able to establish a stable political environment since the regime change in January this year. Our intention is to achieve economic stability through this process, said Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayake while addressing an investment forum organized jointly by the Colombo Stock Exchange and the Swiss Asian Chamber of Commerce (SACC) under the theme ‘Invest Sri Lanka’ held at Zurich in Switzerland and attended by a large number of representatives from prominent Swiss companies.
Minister Ravi Karunanayake further added, “With the setting up of independent commissions, Sri Lanka’s monetary systems, law and order, human rights etc have been de-politicised. I invite you, come to Sri Lanka. Come and invest. This will undoubtedly bring you better dividends than the traditional European investments.” (source: www.adaderanabiz.lk)
