Gold and Crude Oil are being bottomed-up. Economies that ran in an unsustainable manner are being corrected. This will be a sort of Par-Level of global economies as there is no country that got any significant upper hand in economic terms.
Thus, if the market falls further, that because of margin call related selling or panic related dumping. ( The Domino Effect ) Those who master fear of being lost, will indeed survive in the long run. Think of the going concern of PLCs. For me, all businesses are running as usual with minor exceptions.

Yes I agree with you many businesses will run at least for next two decades. (Going concern) Even during period of war, recession or period of economy slow down there will be demand for some product and services including basic things. There will be more demand for defensive stocks during period of uncertainty and market volatility. However, in a big selloff many will scare to buy stocks except few.

Over valued markets and assets including overvalued currencies, real estates are adjusting to the real value. Undervalued assets including assets also will adjust to really value by appreciating its current value. Even oil will average around $37 in 2016/17. If oil goes above $100 there is a chance to enter global economy into global recession. Oil staying below $60 is good for many industries and world economy. Market may have correction but long term bull market should be there.

Markets shake outs leading to big gains for some.
