Hi,

How do we get historical prices. eg closing prices of a given date?

used to get it from http://www.slstock.com/ but does not seem to work now.

Talk to CSE market development division. They will give you the info for free or at a very lower cost than the above website.

2. In the search box Enter ^CSE

now yon access to historical data...

I need to get closing prices of all equities on a given date.

Above site gives the CSE index history.

Register in My CSE with stock exchange. That involve an annual fee but you will get access to all the information you required.

Best thing is to go to the original source, CSE. Talk to them they will give you what you need.

Don’t go anywhere, Go to www.cse.lk give the share symbol you want to see ( Example- TESS) in the symbol search tab, then select Quote and select Historical Trade and give the date or directly go to https://www.cse.lk/historical_trades.do
