My picks would be TJL, GLAS. I would have gone with OGL too, but not when it's under PCHH

thanks for the valuable contribution opfdo .If you go by the figures i thinK DIPD,APLA,GRAN,SIL will be the BEST picks.but can they maintain or improve these figures in the coming quarters and years? I have my doubts because of their future growth prospects.so I will go for companies like ACL,CIND,CARE which shows reasonable figures at current and carries huge growth potentials in the future as they will show better figures in the coming quarters and years.

Picks would be at this stage

GLAS, CIND, TJL, LWL/CERA/TILE ( loss temporary), ACL/APLA/KCAB, DIPD ,RCL

LLUB is a special share.

GRAN, TKYO ,TYRE is also to look for . But don't think GRAN can report 13 eps on Core and TKYO loss is temporary

ABAN,CARE, REG,SIL , REXP,HEXP , AGST , OGL is on watch out list but their earning are erratic at times.

Rest mostly speculatives.

generaly in Sri Lanka most risky sector is manufacture so it my seclection is only GRAIN
but we have many less risky shares rather than go for above list.

Really? That is if we do not study 5 year history of a company and assume that Sri Lanka will not grow.
Remember the policies can get kinder for certain manufacturing sectors from time to time.

In recent years sri lanka's growth heavily depend on agri, service and construction sectors. But i think peace time sri lanka's manufacturing sector should be equally contribute to the growth of the economy.I think next budget will give special attention to this sector and ever developing road network ,ports, air ports ,power generation will contribute positively to this sector as well.

Ideas welcome. REG and REXP are looking good here. Still I don’t have holding in these two stocks. May be we may have opportunities in this sector if we do some study.

Oh, so the qualification to become Admin is to open an account in Feb 2014, make post that make no sense ,  and say nice things to uphold /cover up mistake you made.

It will be very funny if Valueprick becomes an Admin as you then Co Admin and Admin. Also was about the so called Democratic elections and voting ?

See Shooting star,  people are not that stupid as you think they are. The way you commented show remarkable similarity to GMnet thinking and behavior ;-)
