hi...sorry to interrupt. I am not addressed here, but could not help. Very Happy

1st things first, please do not mix up with fundamental analysis with technical analysis. They have their own unique features. Both are equally good and both are equally just unsatisfying, if u ask me... Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy   I suggest you learn both but Master one. I can not say which one suits you, I believe that you have to work on both of them and see in which you can do better.

Just go to the internet, visit a few sites like investopedia.com and You tube  and see what do u like to do the most, Charts or numericals. And come back here. We will help u. In fact, I have a plan to write a few articles on some popular chart techniques but unfortunately life has become too busy for that. But I will do it for sure, soon.

PS: Technically, RSI 70 is kinda overbought and not a good time to enter as per me.

Don't forget that the market fell from 7000 to 5800 within less than three months and there RSI were low as 10. Normally RSI below 30 indicates and over sold market but market fell through to the bottom of bottom.

Why because macro risk fears. But now with the new news we here we have seen the erosion of those risk factors. IMF loan will boost the reserves and Sri Lanka rupee. Tax hikes will improve government revenue thus reduce budget deficit. Also state enterprise reform plans are on the table.

So I think market can stay above RSI of 70 for some time as well so that if you have stocks then don't rush to sell. You can watch the market trend and decide after another one week time. First we must let the market to digest the new information arrived and there on we need to decide what to do.

Agree with EC. As I just mentioned in another tread that RSI 70 does not necessarily mean exit.
