Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe had agreed not to re-appoint Arjuna Mahendran as the Governor of the Central Bank until the investigation launched by the Committee on Public Enterprises (COPE) against him concluded. The Convener of Puravasi Balaya, Saman Ratnapriya said the decision was made during the meeting held between the Prime Minister and the Puravasi Balaya movement held yesterday at Temple Trees. According to CB act CB governor's term of office is six years Arjun M was appointed for balance period of Nivard Cabral as he resinged

What is the meaning of suspension of re appointment

It may be another" GILMART" of UNP

When CB governed is appointed no one can remove him until completion of six years If he is physically or mentally normal.

If the govt genuinely need to remove Arjun M best time is completion of six year term

No one know exactly the connection between Bond Issue and UNP Election Fund

Parliment election was afteter bont scam thre was a possibility use that money for parlimentry election after winning MS as president

Mr and Basil had lot of money earned after 2005. UNP did not had sufficient mony
for 2015 election

That may be the reason to protect Arjune Mahendran by UNP palimenterion
