Q: If you look at the current situation in Sri Lanka, how does the country compare globally?

A: We believe is that there is an enormous opportunity in Sri Lanka, where there is plenty of potential and well educated people, and an economy that has tremendous potential for growth. It is a country many of our global clients have a keen interest in. I also must highlight that geographically it is very well placed.

I dont knw what the hell is going on and what to believe.

Moody downgraded us and this bugger saying positive outlook.

Biggest joke was yesterday at the parliament where FM challenged Auditor general report. This idiot was the one who signed on it and submitted those docs to the parliament with his annual report. So that means he didn't go through the docs before he submitted into the parliament. He only found out after someone from JVP raised the question at the parliment.

apparently they have exceeded borrowing limit lu but no one knows. No one knows now who's figures are right. Is't finance ministers figures which he hasn't stated yet , CB figures or auditor general report Figures.

Moody's downgrading is based on factors existing at a particular point in time. With capital inflow as envisaged by the Govt and narrowing of BOP this can change.

Even the USA is warned by the IMF over high poverty & inequality.

RK & AG issue is the result of inappropriate people being appointed to responsible positions under the so called Yahapalana Govt.
