only negative proposal in this budget towards equity market is the Corporate are taxed on there unit trust investment income. If corporate withdraw there funds from unit trust there will be a domino effect on equity market. As you can see most of unit trust has invested in equity market.

But there many positives in this budget to. Tax exemption on debentures are removed for corporate. All corporate were flooding there excess funds in debentures. Now they cant do that cause its less attractive. So that might lead them to invest in equity market.

Corporate tax level kept at the same level, no major changes.
