Further I don't understand their investment strategy. They sold cash cow CFIN at Rs 800/- and buying shell companies at premium price.
He is blamed because it's against the forum guideline.kam2011 wrote:Now it is clear that SLIC has bought a big quantity of BLUEN and if that is the case why some members blaim SL.Market saying that he is promoting/manipulating price of this share . May be he is so smart to find secret decisions of HNWIs and Institutional investors. So it is good if he share those information with us as we also get a chance to deal with those stocks.
SLIC paid Rs 104 million for this stake but the stock market analysts were surprised with the transaction as it is unusual for a state entity to buy such a ‘dud’ share.
But analysts speculated that this transaction was a politically motivated one, which the SLIC denied.

Is it strategic investment? One is IT related, other one is in the business of gold, gem What kind of synergy expect from acquisition.
Who owns E-Channelling it is Sri Lanka Insurance...who is Sri Lanka Insurance it is government...but there are three key players in the Sri lanka Insurance they are Gamini Senarath, Mohan and Piyadasa...three batch mates at Kelaniya...Good Businessmen..They are the leading Directors of Government Enterprises now...
They have strategic investment plans ...that is what i hear...I heard a discussion when I was in the 4th floor of Sri Lanka Insurance Building...last noon...;-)
Industrialists say Blue Diamonds recently toook steps to safeguard its directors to safeguard its exclusive business,.
Why?---> CEO of E-Channelling, Asanga Karunaratne is married to the daughter of Mallika Hemchandra Jewellers. Mallika Hemachandra Jewellers also has a Diamond Cutting factory but as far as many know they are not in to exports.....sooooo....Some Implications could be derived why ECL and SLIC wants Blue Diamonds...
