one technique is to go through the order book each and every day. start from top order and traverse to bottom, you can see (in both sides) there is a row ten times (few times) higher than the top two rows. that is most probable support and resistance for the given day (when share is highly active it can break this points within that day).
if that resistance and support both moves upwards every day or every other day or weekly, then that is the a sign that share is slowly moving forward (short term).
Remember this is only a technique (no one can predict it perfectly).
But something is better than nothing.
