LOFC,CLC & NIFL have been-transferred  at the market prices.
LOLC Ceylon net asset is set at these market prices and if LOFC, CLC prices go down nobody will subscribe to LOLC Ceylon IPO with low valued assets as they can buy subsidiary shares at low prices at the mkt.

Though we don't know the transfer prices of CLC, LOFC and NIFL anyone must understand that the solution for the fundamental issue is not known yet. The central problem with CLC,LOFC and NIFL is how IN is going to address the minimum public holding issue. The way things are happening IN will not sell quantities to the market. Then the only way to address this will be a delisting. This is a different topic to discuss.

If anyone closely analyze today's share trading pattern of these three shares it seems lot of traders have collected LOFC in anticipation of this news and once the news is out they tried to book the profits. However since the quantities in the market for LOFC is much greater than the other two and so the panic and fear for the traders was much greater than CLC and NIFL. On the other hand the buyers waited more to buy LOFC at much lower prices and therefore no buyers in the end.

Just analyze if the announcement was much negative type then why CLC and NIFL didn't came down by 25%? Even I notice a fair collection in CLC from 60 - 66 with the blood bath. I can say that today the market players went to a profit taking phase with the announcement and so the prices of these three came down where the pressure in LOFC was much higher due to its volume in the market.

Another observation is the stability of LOLC price despite the blood bath of these three. This gives some kind of an indication. Remember there are pending actions centered around this group and if I list them,

a) How IN going to address the minimum public holding issue
b) What amount of equity infusion that LOLC will bring in
c) How the listing of LOLC Ceylon in Singapore going to happen
d) What would be the IPO price of LOLC Ceylon
e) What if LOFC, CLC and NIFL merged to become a single large entity

So lot of unanswered questions and therefore there will be many trading opportunities in the weeks to come so people need not to panic when there is a price weakness but try to trade by using the advantage of significant price variations.

Where are the people who were panicked and sold their shares now! Worth sharing your experience & commenting on this!
