Parent company backing is a large factor. Also LLUB have their own refinery at Sapugaskanda, so any shutdowns do not
affect them. The rest of the finished lubricant importers have gotten hit badly by US$ shortages. That’s why if you look at
market share, since initial lockdowns, LLUB market share has increased significantly. With parent backing lubricants.
LLUB is domestic manufacturers and all others are imported and Importers will have to use LLUB for toll oil blending when
import restrictions get tighter in 2022 and beyond

How is LLUB is going to benefit in the current environment?
There are only 3 local manufacturers of lubricants in Sri Lanka. CEYPETCO, LIOC & LLUB.
LLUB has 48% market share while LIOC has 17% and CEYPETCO 5%.

With the current issues of shortage of fuel, CEYPETCO market share will go to LLUB and LIOC?.
LLUB Has increased its export revenue by 70% for year 2021. The older vehicles need more lubricant needs. LLUB is the market leader in Industrial Oils supplied to factories as well. Their price is competitive even though they increased prices by 23%.

When supply to vehicles get disrupted, will vehicle movement enhance further or decrease further?
More vehicles will come into servicing with the vehicle import ban, demanding higher sales volumes. LLUB not only caters to Motor Vehicle segment, also Industrial Oils and
Marine Oils. International Vessels that dock in Sri Lanka use CHEVRON CALTEX of LLUB as Marine Oils.

NEXT LLUB=BULL..for my valuation price worth around Rs.200+
