Just about to post. Mission you beat me Very Happy.

KGAL Group eps is 9.15 . Company is 9.29 Mission. Should be corrected. No biggie though/

Better than expected results for RICH.

Last 2 quarter eps = 0.55
Annualized = 1.10

With a lower Div sector PE of 16-18= Price can easily go up to around RS 18-19.

KGAL expected annualized EPS would be around Rs 31-32.

Share can trade around RS 300-350 in the near future.

it'll be interesting to figure out where RICH got its profits from. last quarter they 535 million this time 791 million. but NAMU & KGAL performance is only marginally different from last quarter. so where is this huge boost coming from. If it's retailing then RICH can definitely achieve their 2.5Bn profit goal

Mono maskeliya has produced 57m in profits compared to a loss of 58m in the last quarter.
ya true a marginal increase in eps of 5% and 7.5% for kgal and namu respectively.

ok that explain 111 million so that should cover the difference.

So my prediction of RICH hitting 20 might come true

Really Good results for the Plantation sector with Great PE. But I'm a bit disappointed as was expecting about EPS of about Rs 12 for KGAL. Non the less compared with the sector PE ratio KGAL should at least be around rs 350. NAMU also quite undervalued for the amount of Oil farm future and PE they have.

Yeah I was expecting KGAL to hit 12 and NAMU to show about 5.5 as well Sad

of course RICH get's the better end of this plantation deal. they get a management fee plus stakeholder profits. So even if the plantation doesn't do too well they get 30 odd million Very Happy

Yes, I too was expecting this to reach around Rs 18 but Rs 20 is on the cards. If they can continue the same as this quarter( 800million profit ) their target of 2.5 bil for the year will be achieved. I was pesimistic about it before but 2.5 bil is certainly on the cars if they keep this up.

Yeah, I thought KGAL will reach Rs10-11 EPS as I posted elsewhere on the forum. If you look at their revenue from last quarter it has gone down while cost of sales also reduced. maybe they got effect by rain for harvest.
Still this is quite acceptable given the circumstances.

I don't expect much action tomorrow. The big boys already knew about this that why the share raced from 10.5 to 15.5. the people buying now are the retailers. they will get beaten down by mid day.

at least that's usual trend here.

I'm checking KGAL report under segment results. As far as I can see the revenue has almost doubled quarter to quarter on rubber and almost net profits also. Still I'm baffled to understand the report because of this. Where did they loose all this cash they received Revenue from segments ? IS it a mistake on both reports or they had a mistake on a previous report ?

Earlier when Chairman comment about achieving Rs. 2.5 Billion as profit for the year i didn't think it as a realistic target, but now i question my self whether my thinking was right, because i expected that they will produce 550 million but they ended up in with 791.5 Million

@mono : Your projection for RICH was 680 M. The actual is 790 M. In the Income statement there is a 115 M on other operating income. (may be income form plantations) Which means if we exclude the above 115 M . Your projection would be exact. On the Spot..

milanka. it wasn't a projection. I said i had a dream that the profits were 680 million, my projection was that they will at 500-550 million without minority interest.
