hi everyone,

1.why people are telling that its good to away from market ?
2.isn't it good idea to buy at bottom to average ?
3.i bought lot of shares at 7600 level so is it necessary to go beyond 7600 level to get profit ?

btw,if you bought at bargain then just sell off at even one rupee profit.

1. Because most of the people expect the bearish sentiments to continue in the coming weeks and months. However, some think otherwise, they are the people who are buying at the moment.
2. No one can predict the bottom of any share or Index. However, if you hold a fundamentally strong share which you would like to hold for the long term, averaging prices is fine.
3. You just have to wait till your shares go up.

bro be patient now, with the european and american markets crashing also i feel a global reccesion upto 5 years is ahead of us..... i feel sri lanka will be affected to a certain extent and together with a crashing stock market the economy doesnt look very good in the near future ... if i were you sell ast a loss now and montior the market no-one regardless of experts opnions know what will happen to the economy or to a wider scale the global economy few years from now ...... watch and see after sometime prices will drop to real low levels and then enter the market again

Yea, I'm also feeling that if we have fundamentally better shares with us no need to worry because it may gain profit to you. Problem is that the time it take. If investors think about long term investments I personally believe that is best chance to invest in current market situation
