I read in an article where they've discussed the same thing. But what they say is USA and western markets are more attractive now, specially well established and less risky companies which are going at very low price multiples compared to emerging markets which have a high price multiple and more risky.

if i was you..i would..hold on..market is bound for a reversal.. up and if you sell you will loose out..

unless you are an active trader,i suggest you dont exit trades..just because you make a short term loss,specially in a bull market..
however..active traders constantly take losses..because of there strategies..

I can see why you are anxious to avoid the past being dug up. You have given out plenty of bad advice of the kind the original poster recieved in this thread plenty of times. And worse still, you continue to do so.

My intention is to reveal to the forum participants the real knowledge (or lack of it) amongst the so called experts in this forum.

ps: I have no intention of claiming to be an expert. Just trying to highlight that the advice of experts have done nothing but get poeple deeper into trouble

Where were you in the past? I see you joined on 24 January 2012 . Maybe your great opinion would have helped everybody if you came last year and clearly said
" I am so sure market will hit xxx. Sell without hesitation else you will regret" . But I do respect a very few who something close but they did not say exactly the bottom as it is impossible. Also they cannot force anybody to sell just like nobody can fore anyone to buy. They make the decision.

Btw, here is a challenge to you.
Show me posts I forced people to buy. I will reply back to you.
Time to time the market environment changes. Ofcourse some comments I made in 2011 February due to developing trends will not be valid now . I even might have been wrong at times . I accept. None is perfect and can predit 100%.
A good investor will have long term, medium term and short term shares in the portfolio. I have clearly said always it all depends on your investment period , patience and investment targets.

Looks like many are worried about short term targets.

Btw I am not sure what you expect from us. Clearly come out and instill negativity in all post we make and not discuss abotu any potential share? Say sell sell sell.

I am sorry our stratergies are different.

BTw when you did first start investing. IF you think this is bad maybe you never seen worse?

I have real doubt about his true identity.

if you ppl have holding power, better to hold, market will bounce back. even your portfolio comes to 0 (zero) don't worry. just stay calm, and buy and average.

Don't touch banks and finance companies. they all will suffer in future

I'm happy to say I invest more than 1 million.Now I've only 100000.
I'm very happy.Because I can save 1/10 of my money.

You shouldn't be worried bro. just imagine the losses incurred by institutions such as EPF, SLIC and other funds. Their losses must be in billions, if you can play your cards well this is a golden opportunity.

The wrong is with your normal trading pattern. Correct it first. I had this problem and I 've corrected it at the present.
