Tomorrow I'll clear my portfolio.Decide to quit

My loss more than 350,000 without portfolio loss.So I think to sell all shares .Then I can save my balance.What u think Guys ? I've no any other options

i did that two months ago.

I think you are looking at the worst possible time to sell. Even three four days back would have been much better...If you so desperate to sell then try to find couple of back to back green days....

This is not the time. Wait and see if SEC gives an announcement carrot or brokers make up some more rumors. After that market could go up temporarily for a short time.

at least bear this week & see

please atleast try to quit at break even or minimum loss if you want badly need to quit,btw if you want to exit,then first quit from shits which are not worth at current prices..

but please have some patience to examine further weeks

Why have u not got any option? There are always options. U must have overlooked.Anyway why are u too hurry to sell? If u can hold u should hold.

Dear Mark bro,Thanks for advise. I think stock market invest not match for me.next year all my plans going to be end.I got lot of lessons from this forum & friends.

I think this is the worst moment to quit. The market had been falling for ages and you want to quit now? When it has almost touched the bottom? You have got some good shares. If you urgently don't need money, the best thing to do now is hold.
Tell you what. Put limit orders with a 10% profit margin for all your shares and then just forget about the market. When you hear from the news that the market is rising again, come and see what has happened.

Hey dear... don't be panic bro... Just wait & see for another at least a week... This is not the right time to quit...

My unrealized loss is in excess of Rs. 800,000/=. One of the very good qualities of an investor is to have lot of patience to succeed. So don't quit when the market is down. If you want to quit wait till the market moves in to positive territory.

You are too late to quit now. It is better to hold. If you quit you have to do it before loss exceeds 8%.

1st u ve to identify ur a LT investor or a MT investor and trader.. everyone should start as a LT investor and try to learn max as possible how the shares behave and all kinda of techniques..

ppl can pass hints, but u who has to fix ur mind when u gona sell n when u goona buy..

as ur a new comer i think better to hold all ur shares and ve patience, remember if u put on a FD u get annualy around 7-12% but u can earn more than that if u invest on cse ( on reputed stocks ).

and dont follow the stocks ppl talk most, its ok to do but u need to do ur home-wrk 1st .

my loss was over 1 million a few days ago. Still I never sold and did not even visit my portfolio. I now follow the wait and see policy. Now the loss is just below 800,000. I still have hope. See the US markets are crashing because of the debt crisis. Our country has just started the boom after the 30 year war. companies are posting profit quarterly and are mostly improving day by day. We are ahead of a major boom in the country. Why should we worry if we are not in debt and not paying interest. If we have the holding power , it's always better to hold. I am damn sure the market would return to the good old days. Please do not get trapped in the manipulators trap. They drain our valuable money away making use of our panic and greed. I am damn sure the foreign investment would come in soon.

Note:- I am not familiar with the shares you hold in the portfolio as I have none other than LGL.X from your list.
But I strongly believe in the growth of what I have as, I have all fundamentally strong ones like, JKH, BFL and DIAL which I believe would have a good future.

Think and take your own decision man ...... Good luck to you .......

Always think could you recvover this amonut by depositing this ina abank account?
The answer is yes, but the thing is how long would it take, so the best option is to think that you have deposited it in a bank and forget about it. thats my opinion

IF stock markets( US,AUS,M&E...etc) in the world callapse, people who invested in their markets will look for better place. Their 1st option would be CSE. So no worries ... my loss also over 800,000

I read in an article where they've discussed the same thing. But what they say is USA and western markets are more attractive now, specially well established and less risky companies which are going at very low price multiples compared to emerging markets which have a high price multiple and more risky.
