This quarter results are not that impressive. Is is because of plantation sector wage hike? They have recorded a loss for plantation segment performance. Any comments?

profit have gone down significantly.
I wonder why many companies failed to report good profits in june quarter compare to 2010 june quarter.

Maskeliya Plantations have recorded a loss in excess of Rs. 300 Million. I think this has contributed to the poor performance of RICH. However retail sector (Super markets) have performed very well with better results than the results as at 30.06.2010.

Well i will say its depend on how the natural environmental going to be, because for next quarter plantation sector Gratuity not going to effect heavily since they already provided the difference this quarter
