I am new to market, i feel like brokers earning alot from traders. so they must provide a good customer service even though some are little investors,

who is providing the best directFN?

i mean with more informations, like charts etc... with new technology.

I am currently using JBS platform, but i feel like other platform has more informations which will help to analyze the market.

experienced traders please give me your advices.

none in Sri Lanka.
but for the best among worsts,
look for ASIA, ASHA, JB in my opinion.

i wondered why we cannot trade without that horrible so called "advisers".

You are right xmart. These so called advisers are good for nothing.

For doing nothing they are getting commission. They are not able to explain why we should buy a particular stock or why we should sell any. I am dealing with my broker for the past 5 to 6 years. Not once they have guided me even after requesting for advice.

Forget Broker advices... i call them only Regarding payments/ withdrawals or if there is any issues with CDAX.

If you want DirectFN, Asha & Asia provide the facility. Asha will ask 200K of portfolio for the lame reason they cant upgrade the servers and dont wont too many customers doing on line trading.. Asia of cource gives u once u open an account.. But I heard in former investnow form Asia's DirectFN stability was poor.. And I've seen Asha's even worst last couple of weeks and now its ok it seems..

Though Capital Trust online system was claimed to be hasslesome their brokereing seems to have better grounds as most of the people I know have opened accounts with them..

I'm also looking for a new place to enter... BTW have any of you checked the new kid "RICHARD PEIRIS" Securities?

The biggest concern on my mind is "Who is the selling broker for that ASHO sale?" Obviously that is a broker who should be avoided.

Agree with you there. Avoid that broker ( who sold ASHO at 1000) like a plague. Yet to find who sold ASHO but the party to who bought ASHO was Ceyllinco Stock broker ( http://www.cse.lk/cmt/uploadAnnounceFiles/1191297775356_695.pdf).

Anyway, I had okay exprience with ASHA Phllips customer service ( not great but okay) but their online DirectFN lately has not be stable ( it was before). Overall I would say 6/10.

BTW, it would be good to avoid the Brokers who force sell without notice to client. I do not know whom but does anyone have experience?

I'm using JKSB. The online trading system is hassle free. But they don't have charts and other analysis of stocks on system and their customer service is terrible.

what i only like about them is they sending me automated report via e-mail of transactions i made for the day and online system is more stable than some other systems.

If you new learn by yourself and be confident.. so you don't need help of so called stupid brokers.. Don't buy on online rumors without studying by yourself..

Initially I was listening to advisers however, I lost lot of money.

Then I started investing my own way of analysis + forum discussions. Now I am in the profitable pathway.

Advisers are quite unaware of statistics and future developments specially if they are not investers.

My broker onece did a real blunder by selling my valuble stocks (34,000 shares) without asking me.

It caused me a Rs.400,000 - 500,000/= loss.

So if they say to buy some thing think twice specially there are some very good adivces you get from this
forum. but all be aware !

my broker also bought MBSL without informing me,(before i get my online platform) but later i got to know that MBSL is ok, buying price bit high but still lucky.

to be honest it is very dangerous. they will not payback our loss.

MBSL is a good share if you can hold medium term as it is currently undervalued to its sector.

As the new investor to CSE is growing the online trading facilities of most stock brokers might have trouble keeping up. Depending on their sever there is a limit to connections that cane be made at one time. Before everything I thin CSE servers need to be updated as they have contant problems too. ( we seen this in the past).

Above post has not been shown happy about service of their Brokers, so what the hell are they doing with huge commission getting at every trade.
2 years before average turnover was 500 M post war average Turn over are 4000 M it has tremendously increased and their treatment to us become worst.
Regulators must consider reduction of commission and pass benefit to traders.

Just check whole trades u made until now & yr total gain,
Sometime yr broker gain more than u.

Lot of adviser try to force u for many trades. ask u to buy, then ask to sell with small margin.

Try to sell their top clients stocks to u once they want to sell. just simply, they rotate shares of each among his clients.

Some brokers try to take ownership of yr pf, they trade on behalf u. This is the dangerous one. sometime they will made some profit to u. u also getting happy about that. after that u couldn't argue or blame toward them if they made mistake or loss.

They always call & ask u to buy shares, if yr account show buying power.

It is better if u have friend or any other trust-able party at broker firm. otherwise they will play with yr money.

i m not take advice from them
They are not call me even now(coz im not doing what they ask)

After made some loss with them initially, i was able gain to 30% of my pf within month without their advices.

Re. advise My experiance is very bad with my brockers . All such times I have been advised by my brockers I end up with terrible losses.

my adviser never answer my call, it's really hard to get any info regarding trading. may be i m small investor. So they don't care about us.
