Trade Finance & Investments is a small finance company, I think controlled by Jetwing group (Cooray family)

6 mn shares offered at Rs 20

we have to wait and see the prospects to decide the valuation of the firm.
But this number of shares offered attracts my interest. But then again have to see how much the principal owner holds.

considering the number of shares offered, this would be a very speculative share!!!

6Mn shares is the number issued for the public ,It does not mean that the entire share holding is only 6Mn.

In general , the shares issued to the public could vary from 20-45%

Will wait and see !!!! details should be out soon.

Thats what i said exactly. 6m is only the public offering. But have to see the total issued quantity (principal owner holdings, PPs )

i think its good,eps For the Four Months ended 31st July=0.64
so per=20/0.64=31.25

Dividends

The Company has paid a final dividend of Rs.0.45 per Ordinary share (After Subdivision) on
23rd July 2011 amounting to Rs. 22,860,180/= for the year ended 31st march 2011.

Subdivision of Shares
The Shareholders of the Company at its meeting held on 29th April 2011 resolved to sub divide
each existing share into ten (10) shares based on the shareholding as at 29th April 2011, thus
increasing the number of shares of the Company from 5,080,040 to 50,800,400. The shares
arising from such sub division carries the same rights vis-à-vis the existing shares from which
such increase arise.

the issue of this Prospectus.

4.6 Listing
An application has been made to the CSE for permission to deal in and for a listing of Fifty Six MillionEight Hundred Thousand And Four Hundred (56,800,400) Ordinary Shares being the entirety of Issued and Paid up Ordinary Shares of the Company subsequent to the Offering, in the “Diri Savi Board”. Such permission will be granted when the shares are listed on the Colombo Stock Exchange.

It seems around 56M will be listed, only 6M is going to be issued to the public, if the owners don't dispose the share on the first day, then this could be a good one, isn't it??

Only 6M is going public, so that should create some demand, isn't it?

For the first time in CSE i think we are seeing a sell down below the IPO price ... Well-done Mr Cooray.... This will be IPO worth investing but the thing is, They ask for minimum of 1000 shares, but i highly doubt whether anyone goin to get 1000 shares, Capital Alliance people always do this thing, they did same for the Tea Brokers IPO , Applicants received less than the minimum amount they ask to apply..
