CIFL IPO was oversubscribed, so what made u to think that no one goin to invest in softlogic ???? Even their high priced holding company was also oversubscribed, this company is under the protection of strong Softlogic holdings... So what i personally believe is if its correctly priced people would have jump in to it, even if its over priced our silly retailers would have jumped into.

Well i think there is no introduction price, they will just list the shares, but company will give a indicative price on the listing day.

We cannot say it's over priced or not till we see their financials... With financials we can find out a fair value for this..
Intro doc is yet to publish. so save your words to see how its goin after few more days..

Well this isnt a IPO, so who cares whether its over priced or fairly valued???? Valuations dont make any sense in this market???? Smallville ... u have the access to HVA financials, current trading price... whats ur say on it?????

Please explain how would an "Introduction" proceed??

Do the company announce first date of introducing shares to the market??

Do the company sell shares at the indicative price??

How can an investor apply for these shares???

Pretty tru.. valuations have notin sort of a value in a manipulated market.. However, what I think is, when u consider an investment buying something undervalue still make sense.. But for trading the momentum is the factor..

HVA is trading at a PE ratio way over 35 I think (Just a guess) I dont wanna go and look for financials as I know this aint worth 75 rupees. Some companies trade well over the market PE just cuz they have future potential but HVA is an awkward example for it Wink

Unless they come up with some magical Tea portion which could rejuvenize your skeleton system, there's nothing to get in HVA lol!

In SHL case there were two prices for IPO and PP. Security watch dog could consider that factor before giving ok for the IPO price. As retail investors, we also have an obligation to see every aspect before applying for any IPO.Can remember there were lots of promoters even in this forum who predicted it would hit even 50 on the first day without considering any of those factors.PP price was around 7and IPO 29. PP ppl might dump heavily on the first day making most of retailers disappointing. Still SHL struggling to reach 29. But SHL seems a good long term investment.

Personally i dont have issue with PP getting favorable treatment, bcoz they are risk takers, they invest huge amount of money in a company at its early stage risking the whole investment, retailers like us wont take that much of risk... But the issue is HUGE difference between the PP & IPO , there has to be some kind of rational behind the pricing. In the SHL case u they privately placed around Rs 8 & come to us @ 29 . that is day light robbing.

Yes the pricing has to be rational for anyone to make an investment decision. SHL was way overpriced looking at the PP.
I'd say 25-29 for PP would have been a good price for the risk these initial investors take.. but 29 for public is a joke to me.. Evil or Very Mad
