One member is posting ail sunday news articles in 'Talk' section and this has become a big problem for other members to use 'talk' section for debating on current issues.I think Mods/Admin can shift those articles to 'News" section. Appriciate if appropriate action is taken. Thank you.

Need to be rectified by authorities.

The Forum is bombarded with many News articles and its not an easy task for even mods to move these individually however we strive the max Wink

The problem is with individuals.. They just want to max the posts they put and dont care where the content should belong to, we've advised in many occasions and some have corrected themselves but other not yet it seems..

Now we're checking this.. thanks for pointing out..

It's better to temporally suspend such members,if they do not follow the mods advice.I feel there are too many posts from news paper articles rather than actual discussions.

That is a good move to rectify the problem.
Even there are 4 threads in the talk section which should come under news section.
Hope admin will take stern actions towards these guys.

It seems today's Sunday Times Business section is completely posted in the forum articles,hope adimn and mods would take some action soon.

Main problem of this useless news articles is that they appear in latest topic section as a result of which important discussion topics get disappeared.
Therefore if admin can arrange a method to move this topic from latest topic column this problem will become less problematic.This applies even for the topics moved to the prison section.

You are correct.
Is it any chances to create a section for Latest news and assign RSS feeds from various news providers. ( I'm not sure whether this is possible?)
By that way we can minimise these type of problem no?
As you personally know, how this problem is spreading in last couple of months like a cancer spreading in this wonderful forum? (post counts)

I too noticed these unwanted posts by the same member very often.And I wonder whether this is an attempt by him to elevate himself to a higher position in the Forum. and some topics covered were irrelevant to the forum.

Btw, people do your forum a favor and also the moderators who volunteer their time and

post NEWS ARTICLES in NEWS SECTION. While you are at it can you also

i) only post news relevant to CSE
ii) check whether the article you are about to post is already posted (before) by someone else

Now is that so hard is it to make everybody life more easier?

None of us like to initiate unpleasant actions if one breaks or abuses the forum guidelines and etiquette.

Hi Small, What I wanted to tell is, some people are trying hard to increase number of posts(Most of the time post nonsense) to get the titles like, Senior Equity analytic, Assistant Vice President, Executive President etc thinking those are real posts Very Happy

. I noticed this in last few months, some members sent Tsunami of Nonsense posts at a rate and finally got a Moderator ship, Then they become silent like a hibernating polar bears.
By the way I appreciate your efforts(Real Moderators) to make this forum a good one.

What I see is some are suffering with,

MODERATORMANIA.

Because of that some are posting nonsense to increase number of posts.
Others although suffering with above illness they are reluctant to send nonsense posts therefore they criticise both moderators and who are trying to become moderators.
I do not say that all criticisers are suffering from above illness.

I dont know whether his contract is to make our forum a mess. Coz every sunday after his posts it is very dificult to read other mamber's posts.
