Nice one. So these foreign purchases and sales and these crossings are foreigners doing trading. Hah ha.
Check the price of these blue chip shares, their lowest values, the crossings. According to you they bought and sold and again bought and then sell at the same prices. Even then you have to lose the 2+% brokerage charges.
I wonder if these are really done by our big players to show some magic to the local people.

Dear mr Rajaram, please do not make outrageous claims and try to appear more foolish than you need to be. Foreign institutional investors do not trade at the CSE they invest. The contrast between trading and investing is stark, and it would only take a few minutes of reading for you to learn that.

Traders do not generally participate in illiquid markets and traders usually are not instituional investors. The current foreign selling is by one of the top 10 share holders of Commercial Bank. Let us hope that other top shareholders do not follow their example.
