Much of the day’s business volumes came from block trades in JKH where 3.3 million shares were crossed at Rs.182.50 and 284,000 shares at Rs.190 in deals worth Rs.668.4 million accounting for the bulk of the day’s turnover.

Textured Jersey too saw 4.2 million shares crossed at Rs.7.70 generating Rs.32.7 million turnover.

Apart from the block trades, Commercial Bank (non-voting) closing flat at Rs.74 on over 0.4 million shares done between Rs.74 and Rs.74.50, was the biggest turnover generator posting a business volume of Rs.31.7 million.
