In different points I've found that most are saying share prices will going up after 31 of March... different people have different reasons for this.. please share your ideas, explain how its happening and what will be the reasons... Question

I don't see any good reason for market to pick up soon after 31st of March, We can't say share prices will appreciate just because the credit dead line is over. Market might be slow because the aurudu season is coming up and there are few holidays fall within. We might see a clear run may be after aurudu! But this time it could be different since it was a slow market from mid February, So if they start buying from the 1st week of April it will run again. So let's wait and see...

actually if you look at the prices of shares they're not cheap. some have been at much lower prices in february, e.g. DIST were at 160s. so it's not true that everything is at a discounted price. most are only 2-3% cheap. some are even more expensive. some will become cheaper than today. it's like the shoe sales in new year time. you have the impression there is a sale. but you pay the same kind of price.

There are several reasons for investors to expect another run in April. One reason may be some of the investors get margin trading facilities up to 50% from 1st April.( including me ) Another reason that I can guess is for tax payers their financial year ends on 31 st and they can do new business from April 1st. Some members of the forum have analized the present market condition technicaly by using Charts and their conclusion too support the another run in the coming weeks.

It is true we cannot win all the times and also we cannot beat the market all the times

In addition we cannot take advantage of all the movements of the market

However sometimes we can idedifity some move before others.

Even in down market we had so many plays. Such as hospital play, sugar play, market leaders play. Small cap and medium cap play etc.

I think we will have more play from tomorrow. If we can identify some specific bull factors relevant to Colombo stock market we should try to grab some opportunities.
