Mahesh...looks like you are in a hurry to make some money from the CSE.

I remeber your question yesturday about Union bank where you claimed that you bought some shares at Rs. 42 and expecting the forum members to advise you whether it will go up in the near future.

Your questions and actions suggest that you are quite new to the share market. So my advice for you is to first observe the market behaviour for sometime before you take those risky decisions to earn quick bucks by share trading.

Day trading is for those who are experienced and well established in the market and the newcomers can easily get their fingures burnt. As a beginner, you should be able to hold your investment atleast for one quarter so it will give you enough time to study the market conditions and get a feeling about how it works.

Coming back to your immediate question, SEMB is attractive for me at the current prices. It is one of the very few penny stocks in the BFI sector. I really would like to see their next quarter results to understand if they are heading in the right direction. They raised lots of money recently through thier rights issue.

They have Raised the....& every body saw there was nothing special [00 EPS] ..thats the reason for the price drop I guess...!

* and cn't compare at the peak of these two different companies any more...
market is depend on predictions. some investments make gains as long term. I 've 2/3 of my portfolio with seylan and SMB leasing. that is not my own decision. unfortunately, When we look at the current situation of the market, I know its too early start. But, most company portfolios going same at the moment. I'll give the reply when it pass my target near future... Smile

agreed.
bt that's too much of a risk for me. bt since SMB is a penny stock, it's can make u rich too. but i had my since the time warrants came bt i too sold off when it was downing.

the reason for the drop as someone said should be that the earnings wasn't as expected specially with the new money.

yes it will pass the target one day but there will be many others which would have leapfrogged Wink

Don't expect miracles overnight!!! Give them sometime to make use of these funds and improve thier performance.

The company raised this money only in October 2010. Yes we have seen their reports for December 2010 quarter but that is only after 2 months of raising this money!!!
