Elections - Sri Lanka Equity Forum

This is not Provincial or Presidential Elections!! But this is the Election to appoint the Administrators and the Moderators of the forum. This is the most critical time of the forum. They will be appointed as the President and the Cabinet of Ministers of the Sri Lanka Equity forum which has a membership of over 10,000. They will have absolute powers of the forum.

Lets start the Nominations before we get into voting.
Current Administrators will take care of the forum during election time.

Nominations close on 28th February 2014.
Nominations are Accepted for the following Positions
- President of the Forum (Formerly know as the Administrator)
- Vice President (Formerly Known as Co-Admin)
- Election will be through open voting system for 30 days.
- Person who received highest number of votes will be the President and second highest would be the vice president.
- Thereafter President and Vice President shall Jointly appoint the Moderators.
- There will not be voting for moderator positions.
- There will be maximum of 3 Global Moderators and 5 Moderators.
- President will have 1 year term in office. Maximum 2 terms.
- There will be an Election every Year.

I nominate Sureshot as the President.

And i nominate Gainer as the Vice President.

Hope both aren't the same person.

Already this forum cancelled reputation voting due to mal practise by the members. This election going to be the horrible one even in Sri Lanka history. Best of luck.

Clarification needed:
Any chances if a member want to cancel his / her membership from this forum?
If in that case what will happen to the posts or comments he / she made?

Current Administration should answer your question. After all they have been managing the forum for last 18 months.

Current Administrators are suppose to manage the Election Process. Do You want to appoint a Election Commissioner? It is not a bad idea.

Keep their name as Admin but took out moderator post.
