It is good to see tremendous improvement in the traffic of Sri Lanka Equity Forum. We average more than 200 online members at all times and membership is now getting close to 11,000. It is also good to see new members contributing their ideas to the forum without any bias or being bullied by the senior members and/or Moderators. We are also happy to see that forum is now free from members who tries to induce the mind of the new members with regard to the direction of the overall market and selected shares without any valid reason or a basis.
New membership is the core for the success of this forum. As we have seen in the past life cycle of a forum member is generally less than 1 year. Members tend sway away after this period irrespective of their expertise and interest in the forum. We have been continuously getting a new flow of members thanks to our wide web presence and other connections.
