Forum Outlook

Since Recently i have been observing the forum traffic has picked up to satisfactory levels with new and old membership keen on identifying longterm shares that are fundamentally strong and at discounted levels.whilse most shares have appreciated before our eyes there are some still at attractive levels.One need to do bit of a research by spending time.It should not be a case where without doing much of a research pressing BUY or SELL buttons like a one trying to trade online.we should do bit of a homework as these investment decisions are like a bond for future earnings out of it.trying to concentrate buying/investing on few companies that have very good past growth records would stand out although its not a guarantee these companies will have same results in their future earnings.but its worth having look at the leaders in each sector. We also should look at their dividend policy before making our final decision. a decent dividend would definitely be welcome in my opinion that would give continuous additional income during down trend. reading would make no harm so spending time reading past annual reports to identify pros and cons, economy factors affecting the sector, future plans to overcome issues pertaining to the company, will make potential investor well equipped to anticipate future jitters and take corrective actions and such events should not necessarily mean trigger decision to sell your holding.this could be short to medium term issues the company could well tackle it in few quarters or years.
I am always an advocate and open about it in stock market there are members (traders) who like to make fast  money on speculative  shares as well as there are long term investors. We need both for the survival.The former is equally important in an any given market to maintain liquidity. You can not blame them and shut them out by labeling them as promoters. whilst SLEF does not recommend for Newbies trading on speculative shares, we can not put restrictions on those who do such trading and make a living.Please note as in the past SLEF is not a platform for misuse on such activities. We at SLEF encourage members to know the HIGH Risks involved in engaging, trading on speculative ground.
So each member must make full use of the vast knowledge resource available in SLEF to pick GOOD shares that will appreciate over the years.
Further we see nowadays in SLEF there is much sought out thirst for strong future growth shares as oppose to Speculative nature ones. This is more inline with Market corrects it self over time   So one need not worry much about the noise one creates to highlight a share. This is highlighted by the recent posts we are seeing last couple of days.So i could safely say we may have different sector Runs in CSE henceforth.     

I am a believer that you can out perform the market, but you need not take that as extra pressure on you. A Simple well discipline strategy should get you there with a bit of home work about shares you are going purchase.
