this not a silly question. we have full legitimate right to get our money back.i also have 1000 shares. very small qty.
we small investors have nothing to do with initial privatization. we do not know it was right or wrong. but later this same MR government promoted investing in the Cse.
so we bought shares. many pensioners also bought.
this taking over without paying compensation is totally wrong.it is a rouge act.
shameless act.
definitely unp government will pay compensation or give us our ownership back.
it is a good idea to form an association of small investors of suga to organize a protest in front of parliament to get our right to ownership.

This was taken over by the government under gazette of under performing companies act.
Accordingly SUGA is vested under the Treasury , compensation has to be made to the shareholders according to the valuation.So shareholders will be compensated.A Valuer has appointed for this purpose.So you have to submit your claim to the said authority.
