.

This was taken over by the government under gazette of under performing companies act.
Accordingly SUGA is vested under the Treasury , compensation has to be made to the shareholders according to the valuation. So shareholders will be compensated.A Valuer  has appointed for this purpose. So you have to submit your claim to the said authority.

Thank you very much for info, So where we have to submit our claims?

under privatization, suga was making profits. but the motive for taking over is not that. that is the ethanol.
if this factory is kept under government they can control ethanol. . they can get ethanol.that is the reason.
see sri Lankan and mihin. are they over performing or under performing. who is paying for these crimes? sri Lankan was making profit. but under this government we public have to pay to keep it.

anyway anyone has got money for suga shares? or got any dividend?
then who is eating our dividend money?

please tell us any one has got compensation.

You have to submit your claim to the chairman.compensation tribunal ,SJMS Associates.
I am unable to say whether such claims are accepted at the moment since they made this in 2013.
I will try to attach a scan copy of the letter I received in respect of the above for your information.

are there any other SUGA share holders in this forum?
please tell us if you have received any form of communication from treasury or from govt regarding compensation payment.we are in dark about this compensation programme. i did not see any news paper notification or personal notification regarding this.

I do not know how they can take over private property without even informing affecting people.
the same story goes in vanathamulla too .there also people struggling against taking over of houses without paying compensation to match the property value.

Dear omegaplus and schemer.I am extremely sorry for delay.
I have been trying to attach a scan copy of the letter received from the compensation commission.Due to technical issue I was not able to attach scan copy to this reply. If administration permits me to put my email address I will send a scanned copy which carries required details.
I did not submit my claim due to the fact I am holding only100 shares of SUGA.
But I got compensation for Hotel Developers shares.

Dear Admin,
Please consider my above request
.
Thanx

You can paste the link there ...
when you finish you can send and it will post the image...
Hope this will help...

Hi,
As I heard from Soileconomy,
These are the documents he have.

What happen to SUGA.N? - Page 2 <a href=What happen to SUGA.N? - Page 2 2410_211" />

What happen to SUGA.N? - Page 2 <a href=What happen to SUGA.N? - Page 2 2410_212" />

What happen to SUGA.N? - Page 2 <a href=What happen to SUGA.N? - Page 2 2410_213" />

As I understand from them , SUGA share holders had to claim compensation within 2 Years from 11th November 2011.( Before 11th November 2013)  Which is well past by now.

So I think as most of us share holders didn't hear/ knew about this, may be we can ask them to look in to that.

what you think ? any ideas?

Please let me know what can we do...
I really fall bad they way they handing things...
