Market sources and insiders from Nipuna Rice Mills are discussing the possibility of listing 'Nipuna Sahal' and Araliya Hotels chain owned by Maithripala Sirisena & Brothers Business in the market by 2016 after SLFP takes victory in the upcoming Presidential Election.

It is now said If Maithripala crosses to opposition by any chance he may lose that opportunity of listing his brothers businesses in the island's Colombo Stock Exchange since if he becomes the Common Candidate it is another trick by Sri Lankan Ranil Wickramasinghe to change the constitiution and become the Executive Prime Minister of Sri Lanka running a top Prime minister Controlled Economy where as Maithripala as Common President will have 'No Power' or nothing left.

Thus it is said Maithripala will never ever cross the government.

Three stalwarts of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party, who hold ministerial positions, have been invited to take part in the press conference which is to be addressed by SLFP General Secretary Maithripala Sirisena.

All three of them, according to highly placed political sources, represent the District of Kalutara.

Minister Sirisena is presently attending a state function at Janakala Kendraya in Battaramulla and is scheduled to attend a special press conference at New Town Hall in a while.

Addressing the event at Janakala Kenraya, Minister Sirisena said, "having served as the Minister of health for nearly five years, i look forward to serve the country with greater commitment"

However, it is still not clear whether the three stalwarts have confirmed their participation for the press event. However, they are staunch supporters of Maithripala who is about to make a drastic political move today.

However, the UNP MPs confirm that nearly 15 parliamentarians of the ruling party have pledged to follow the footsteps of the SLFP General Secretary.

This morning, the Minister refused to address the weekly UPFA press conference when he was contacted by a senior official of the Ministry of Mass Media and Information.

United National Party Parliamentary Group unanimously gave its approval to the Party Leader, a short while ago, to proceed with a common candidate at the upcoming Presidential Election.

Amidst speculations that UPFA Minister and SLFP General Secretary Maithripala Sirisena will crossover to the United National Party the G 20 committee and the parliamentary group of the UNP held a special meeting today to make a decision on the UNP’s in the Presidential Election 2015.

UNP MP Harsha de silva said for the first time in his four year long parliamentary career, he was seeing so many smiling faces at the parliamentary group meeting.

Meanwhile, addressing a state fuction at Janakala Knedraya in Battaramulla, Minister Maithripala Sirisena hinted at his possible crossover.
"Having served as the Minister of Health for nearly five years, I am determined to serve the country with greater commitment," the Minister said.

'Tomorrow, my decisions may take a different turn," he added alluding to claims of a possible crossover.
