Value investors can buy stocks at any time as long they see promising future. Some stocks went down in small quantity. They will have more support than other stocks. We don’t find major sellers for those stocks. I think some must have done some day trading as well. Mid and long term investors can sleep peacefully as long as they bought stocks on value and future prospects. Current volatility should disappear once stocks pass from weak hands to strong hands. Even in today’s market there are steady stocks and green stocks. It is better to be selective in stocks and should pick on future earnings, value and growth. In every type of market there can be opportunities provided we have strategy. Some investors can become aggressive when they see fire sales.. They know they can buy quality stocks at great bargain n fire sales.

Some steady stocks so far:

Horana Plantations
Kahawatte Plantations
NHL
UDPL

It looks like there is a demand for food related stocks in the current market.

Thank RAPPA. What about swing trading opportunities in the market.  I just want to mange my mid and long term portfolio. Those who are in broker credit also must be selling as they have to settle margin within specific period.

I think this panic sell off ready to bounce back. Why? This is a ‘panic attack,’ not a bear market in stocks.  I think some investors/ traders will have smile in their faces by Friday.

That is what we all try to explain here, temporary red in our portfolios has to be expected when you are dealing in stocks. That is the beauty of this game.

Because no one can maintain a portfolio of all green when negativity comes in.

Now please look it has come down to previous lows (ASI at the last pullback) now. Again from here another break out has to happen from overall market point of view.

Stick tide by end of this week pistivity will emerge.
