Why u wonder ?

Possible in CSE, See with in two days Rs.1.70 become Rs.27.90.

This is very easy task for our traders to push up 27.90 to Rs.900 even to Rs.9,000......

Oh Regulators.. They should have stayed right behind me and advice not to buy this massively over valued counter. Why cannt they do such a simple thing.
Government should sack the whole board.

SShhh.... these days introductions are more profitable for existing S/Hs than IPOs.
Therefore in the future they would consider an introduction to go public then a rights issue to raise more from the retailers

seyon wrote:Hi Friends

To be frank, I did not even open the introductory document, So, can u just explain me is it worth to pay @ Rs.27.90, whereas its reference price just only Rs.1.70 ?

Yesterday i found only 100 shares were trade @ 18.60 Today 825,100 shares trade @ 27.90, then Tomorrow ?

Funny thing we can see from next annual report or may be coming quarter report, our innocent retailer Mr.X and Mr.Y in the Board Smile Smile Smile

Happy Trading

Seyon, the simple answer is it is not worth for that price. This is what I posted in another thread.

Paying Rs. 27.90 for a share having 11 months EPS of Rs. 0.34 and NAVPS of Rs. 4.53 as per the introductory document is just crazy.

See http://www.cse.lk/cmt/upload_report_file/1076_1311136379887.pdf

However, the EPS calculation in the introductory document seems flawed. The correct diluted EPS calculation will be as below.

11 months profit – Rs. 17,398,320.00
Total issued shares – 100,716,730 (after 1:10 split)
11 months EPS – 0.17
Annualized diluted EPS – 0.19

At an annual EPS of Rs. 0.19, this is currently trading at PE ratio of above 146.

Private placement took place last December for a share price of Rs. 1 and Rs. 1.65. Imagine how much profit they are making now.

I am sure those who buy this share at these levels will come later and start blaming the regulators for not saving them from their own mistakes just like the others are doing already.

A stake in Nanda Investments and Finance Limited owned by the Mallawarachchi family is being negotiated to be divested, according to sources close to the company.
“There is a party that has approached Nanda Investments and Finance and the discussions are on,” a source told the Business Times. He didn’t divulge for how much it is being sold, but said that it is a part stake of the 42 per cent which the Mallawarachchi family owns.
Lalith Mallawarachchi, also the managing director of the company, has 16.89 per cent in the company while his automobile company Nanda Motors has 14.6 per cent. Dinal Wijemanne, former CEO/Managing Director of brokerage Taprobane, has 28 per cent. Deposit mobilisation, leasing, hire purchase and loans to individuals and small to medium scale enterprises are the core businesses of Nanda Investments and Finance.

I dont know the retail Mkt price. But for this 42% stake i can arrange around Rs. 5.00 - 6.50 Per share due to the NAV. But need to check the Quality of the assets and the finance license.
Nothing else to be taken.

If a reputed manipulater take this quantity yes can be another DPL.

This share was manipulated after the IPO in 2011 and went close to RS30. But I think people are more mature now not to fall pray. This is already trading at a high premium. See its fallen back to the closing price.

Looks like the sunday times article was used to dump the share on to the retailers, nearly 1 million shares traded and price unchanged from the last closing. Let's see what happens during the rest of the week.
