Yes. For me too.

That is the only speculative counter i had in my portfolio. 25% loss from that. LOLC DEVELOPMENT FINANCE PLC (NIFL.N0000) - Page 21 Icon_cry

This is a  good lesson for all. Hereafter don't buy any finance company share (CFL,CALF,TFIL,GSF,ARPI) which is been acquired by another under the new Act of consolidation of finance companies.  LOLC DEVELOPMENT FINANCE PLC (NIFL.N0000) - Page 21 Icon_mad

Once they acquired 90% they say companies Act allows them to acquire the rest at the offer price. LOLC DEVELOPMENT FINANCE PLC (NIFL.N0000) - Page 21 Icon_question

Following is an extract from my previous posts. Be careful even with DFCC

Dear member be careful with finance consolidation process. Following are factors

First, more than 50% shares of those companies may be are acquired

The remaining share holders will be offered a mandatory offer

Then, thereafter these companies may be merged. In that process what will happen to those minority share holders who did not accept the mandatory offer ?

Those MI shareholder will be issued parent company's share. At what price?

If you have bought shares at above the mandatory offer, you will get parent company's shares but we dont know at what price?

Then there is a possibility to come the price down to mandatory offer price of those finance companies. This may lead to a drastic market downfall.

Ex. COCR acquired TIFL at 28. then what happen to those who have bought TIFL at 40+ if these two companies merged. The remaining share holders will get cocr shares. But at what price? if cocr issues shares at below mp, then cocr price may come down.

If i am not mistaken MBSL issued shares at NAPS basis for those other two companies.

We need to wait till one merger happens. So be careful with trading above the mandatory offer.

Open to discuss for you dear members

Hey guys can somebody advice me on NIFL??? I have bought 50,000 share at the prices of Rs.11-13. And I don't have money to buy it at lower price since I have a margin call which I have to settle on monday.

What shall I do???
If I sell NIFL at current price I will be incurring a loss of alomost Rs.100,000/- since my average is Rs.12.30 per share.

Your valuable advice in this regard is very much appreciated..

I think we have to seriously look at some facts regarding to NIFL.
Why we should buy this above Rs 9.70 since big buyer paid only that much.
This share was highly discussed here and most of us were unable to think of a such incident.
Does it carry a value of currently trading price.

Thanks alot RPPA.

After selling off NIFL I will have about Rs.150,000/- hopefully. I have CINV about 15000 shares. But it came from 113-94 levels that also effected alot for my margin call.

Fortunately I bought 10,000 shares when it was trading Rs.95 levels couple of months back.

CINV is a good share no doubt. But never buy it when a run is on.As it never sustain @ those prices when market is falling. Below 105/- far better.
