If you want more data after 8th or 11th July, PM me with mail addresses so I'll mail you the CSV files for u to upload.. U have to manually do it referring to the posts as given above..

I think the technical analysis using specilized software like Amibroker/Metastocks are now getting populer among forum members. Lot of comments and postings relating are more frequent than earlier.

I understand specially Smallville and CubedSol are the experts in the area. Also they are spending lot of time to assist and do not hessitate to assist to guide fellow members, whoever sought their help - that is a greate work as seniors/experts flower

.

I'm sure Smallville and CubedSol donot treat requests (PMs) of fellow members as trubles, but the other hand we must not make them more are more trubles becose of that, by asking the same 100 time by 100 members. Insted we'll ask them to teach us basic lessens and its interpretations. (Sorry, if I put you in more truble Cool

)

Sooo .... this is just a suggestion... Idea

If somebody can create database files that can be used/shared by the other members (like CubeSol did) in SLEF or the Research Section... and update it at the closure of each market day as guided by our experts in their posts, members may upload the database file to each of their computers (which Amibroker database is installed). I don't know excectly whether this is workable suggestion or not Question

What I had in mind regarding this amibroker thingy is for you guys to follow the guidelines provided by sammy, Cubed and come up in your life strong with some tool to trade wisely..

Hmmm.... Just now came home after WORK !!

Ok , What I can do is this , I'll share the ""CSE DL.xlsm"" FILE daily .

BUT theres a catch , Normally I come home at arnd 9PM . So you'll be getting the data after that .

Another thing Just use the data given by US as a base and simply follow the steps outlined on the mentioned posts , Then you are in control of the update process of your database... H/E I'll continu updating and sharing these files...

Sorry guys I dont find it practical to share the CSV file as the one I've got is already a FAT 59.2MB file . But the above mentioned file contains the same data you only have to go thro the instructions on my post OR sammy's blog .

*Pls be mindful about the date format * My files use the ""7/15/2011" format , And I suggest you use the same for the database...

*Some members complained that after updating the database they are receiving 3K errors !! So far I had none... We'll see... Sad

Download the EOD file from here (download the .txt file. Not .xls file)

Then import to Amibroker using "Import ASCII" option.

currently there is some bug i think we dont get the intraday
on directfn (download -> historical time and sales) it has some feb values only

the issue is we cannot depend on the price list on the cse site, it includes crossings (for eg if you take todays price list BLUE.N the High price is 8, if we do a technical analysis based on that data we are doomed
